About
Caroline Trombley joins the Preschool teaching team after working several years as a teaching assistant in a local home-based daycare. She spends most of her time teaching in the younger toddler class and is working towards her preschool teacher certification. Caroline says, “I’m thrilled to help teach in exciting and engaging ways with all ages of children. I love being able to watch each child grow individually and start to come into their own identity. I think it is incredible how much time we are able to have the kids outdoors here at the Preschool and that we are able to give them the freedom they need to explore nature and the world around them, but in such a safe and caring environment.”
“I love doing art projects with young children. You can tailor the activities to just about anything you’re teaching the kids, while allowing them to express their individual personalities in creative ways. I hope to bring new ideas into the classroom that not only keep kids engaged, but encourage their curiosity and grow their desire to learn new things!” Caroline’s favorite picture book is Edward the Emu. She says, “Growing-up, my family would share this book together almost every night before bedtime. The story drew me in as a young child because there weren’t many books about emus and I liked how it was different in that way. The story is about being proud to be yourself.”
